Artistic Watercolors by Cynthia Hobaugh Orwan

Cynthia Hobaugh Orwan was raised in New Cumberland, PA, graduated from Cedar Cliff High School, and received Bachelor of Science and  Master of Education degrees with a minor in art from Shippensburg University. She studied watercolors with Harrisburg-area artists David Lenker and Barbara Buer, and has taught classes at the Art School and Galleries at Mechanicsburg.  

In 2000 she and her late husband, Bob, opened Artistic Collectibles/3rd Street Gallery, in New Cumberland, where she now teaches and shows her work.  Numerous local galleries, private offices and homes display her work.  

Her new adventure with husband Scott Johnston is raising alpacas on their lovely 22-acre farm in Lewisberry.  Cindy is now also spinning and weaving alpaca fiber into beautiful scarves, blankets, ponchos etc. See samples of some of her work on the Starry Night Alpaca page.
